Once the patient has undergone surgery with Dr Nunes, patient will first be seen at the end of the surgical list in the ward before discharge to make sure that there are no early complications which have occurred and that the patient has adequate analgesia.
At this point further instructions will be given verbally and further questions may be asked prior to discharge.
For patients that reside outside of South Africa the above post-operative follow-ups may be done via video call.
Specific post-operative details are to be searched under the appropriate heading under the surgical procedures list which are recommended to be read prior to the surgery and referenced during the post-operative recovery time frame.
